As well as key services, such as The Hereford Menopause Clinic, cosmetic and plastic surgery, varicose vein treatments, hand surgery and dermatology, The Wye Clinic is also home to Hereford Vision Surgical Group which is a pioneering eye surgery regional centre. Between them Hereford Vision’s team of expert eye consultants have carried out tens of thousands of successful cataract, lens replacement and other eye procedures, with excellent results.

Our surroundings are stunning, including the listed nineteenth-century Moorfield House, along with its beautiful private garden. In 2021 the building was renovated throughout to meet stringent modern safety standards and is now home to a wide range of different private medical and surgical specialties in a luxurious & welcoming setting.

You will find us easily in central Hereford. There is ample on-site parking, and we are very close to the new development, Old Market Shopping Centre and Waitrose. Hereford Vision Eye Surgery
The renowned Hereford Vision group of eye surgeons includes Mr Simon Madge, Mr Ben While, Mr George Morphis, Mr Geraint Williams and Mr Amun Sachdev. All are top NHS consultants and experts in the respective fields, who offer a wide of range of expert care for conditions such as cataract, lens replacement surgery, premium intraocular lenses, retinal and macular problems, cornea, glaucoma and eyelid surgery. In 2022, the team won a prestigious award at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists annual conference for their innovative work on ultra-clean air technology in eye surgery.
Hand Surgery and Therapy
The Wye Clinic is also the home of Hereford Orthopaedic Solutions Group, who are experts in hand and upper limb surgery, as well as physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Specialist orthopaedic surgeon Mr David Powers offers a wide range of different procedures to improve the strength, pain and /or functionality of your hands and arms, none of which require a general anaesthetic, meaning a safer and faster recovery for you.
