Cysts, lumps and bumps
Fatty or cystic lumps anywhere on your body are very common. They aren’t necessarily dangerous however, such lumps can irritate, itch, catch on clothing and become cosmetically troublesome. If you would like an assessment for their removal our team at The Wye Clinic will respect your privacy and dignity, ensuring that you access the treatment you want, when you want it.
Other problems can be dealt with too
Piles or haemorrhoids can make your life miserable. However, help is at hand, available whether they’ve just started hurting or have been a problem for a long time. In many cases, treatments can be carried out under local anaesthetic and have high success rates. Our team can also assess other problems such as hernias and colorectal problems, with access to hospital care and general anaesthetic if needed.

Mr Chokkalingam Arun
Mr Arun is an experienced senior consultant general surgeon, whose NHS practice is based at Wye Valley NHS Trust. His clinical training in the UK has seen him work in prestigious surgical units such as Oxford, Nottingham and Cardiff, along with an impressive academic background culminating in an MD thesis and higher degree.
Mr Arun is skilled in many aspects of surgery, specialising in: the removal of “lumps and bumps” (many of which are not permitted to be done within the NHS due to funding restrictions); cysts; lesion removal; anorectal conditions, such as piles or haemorrhoids; hernia repair; pilonidal disease; bowel continence; and colorectal disease, such as cancer.
Mr Arun is well-known in Herefordshire for his charming demeanour, great skill and excellent outcomes from procedures. The Wye Clinic’s team is thrilled to be working with him.
An initial consultation with Mr Arun costs £200.

You will find us easily in central Hereford. There is ample on-site parking, and we are very close to the new development, Old Market Shopping Centre and Waitrose. There is no need for a referral, nor do you need to have private medical insurance. Finance options are available for all our procedures, if required.
